Just because Adrian complained!

Adrian noticed I had not updated the blog for awhile so here I am!

What have we been up to? Well basically we have been busy. Lots of carpet cleaning has been completed recently and we have noticed more and more scotchgard treatments being done – most people want to protect the carpets once we have gone – perhaps so they don’t have to have them cleaned so often…I’m not sure this is a good thing for us on reflection!

We have also started selling spare parts for Agas and Rayburns. This is very popular as these big range cookers – whilst they will last basically forever – do need some cosmetic replacements from time to time. The interior door panels are our most popular items at the moment – they are nigh on impossible to clean sometimes so a new panel can really finish a freshly cleaned aga or rayburn nicely!

On the subject of big range cookers I recently cleaned something called a ‘staywarm’. It seemed very well put together and was a nice bit of kit. It came up lovely and was completely electric. Strange, after all this time, to come across something completely new!
